AT&T Week Recap ~ Week of 2/3 – 2/9

Well, the AT&T golf tournament is over and crews will now start the long process of deconstructing all the bleachers, tents and sky boxes erected over the last month. Jimmy Walker won yesterday afternoon for the Final at 11 under. As always, the tournament brought with it the most inclement weather in the last year. Of course during the worst drought in years, we would still get rained out during the AT&T….of course. But, that’s part of the fun.

Some interesting real estate activity over the course of the event- Only 2 closings in Carmel, albeit one was an amazing home on the Point, “La Villa Dulce”, for $3.575M, originally designed and constructed by my very talented friend, Jon Hagstrom. Some nice prime Carmel activity with a total of 6 new sales, from $875k to about $2.3M, all in the downtown area with the exception of a nice Ribera Road fixer at a $1.695M list price.

There were 2 closed sales in Pebble Beach, both in the MPCC course area around the $1M mark. 5 new sales over the course of the week- solid for Pebble Beach and the current inventory numbers. One home went under contract on the estate side of Pebble from about $2M asking, and a gorgeous home on 17 Mile Drive and MPCC, with commanding views overlooking the course and the ocean went under contract from an asking of $4.995M.

All in all, a great week on the Peninsula and in Pebble Beach and Carmel real estate, and lots of newly engaged out of town buyers from the event. Have a great week and let’s pray for more rain. We need it!

Cheers,

Ryan
